Sutton, Coldfield

Role: Architect concept to completion
Completion: December 2015

The existing ground floor had a split level Kitchen separated from the Dining Room by a hall way to the garden. We re-configured the ground floor with a new extension to create a large open plan Kitchen/Dining room and seating area with an added Utility room. The other half of the semi drops in height 1m so to retain their right to light the extension steps back.

"We employed Guy Piper Architects to guide us through the entire process of our house renovation. As property professionals ourselves we understood the importance and efficiency of using a specialised team to achieve and enhance our own vision in the most cost effective and time efficient way.

Tom and Charlie worked with us and liaised with each person during the renovation whether it be the planners, structural engineer or builder. They were able to make savings for us as well as provide a good sounding board on the interior styling side.

The renovation happened very quickly due to our builder's pace and Hannah being 7 months pregnant when we started! Tom and Charlie were able to match this pace and deliver an end result which we are extremely pleased with. The space definitely has the wow factor but also meets our practical requirements.

For us, Guy Piper Architects worked above and beyond our expectations for an architectural firm. Their expertise in not only the basic building design but the lighting, and even design of the fixtures has earned us many compliments from friends."
